The MIRRI Ritual
At MIRRI we believe that every small act of care can become a ritual - a moment to pause, breathe, and reconnect.
Every order comes with a beautiful affirmation card. Each card is printed on British wildflower seed paper, designed to be planted and grown.
When you plant your card, you’re not just sowing seeds - you’re planting your intention.
This simple ritual invites you to slow down, set an intention, and nurture it with time and care.
As your flowers grow, may they remind you that your own growth unfolds at its own pace - beautifully, naturally, and always in time.

What Is Seed Paper
Seed paper (often called plantable paper) is made from recycled cotton, paper, or wood pulp and embedded with live wildflower seeds.
When planted in soil and watered regularly, the paper biodegrades and the seeds germinate - growing into beautiful flowers that support pollinators and biodiversity.
It’s a simple, sustainable way to transform your message into something truly alive.
Planting Your Intention

A Thoughtful Wildflower Mix
The paper features a carefully selected blend of native British wildflowers and grasses - safe to plant, pollinator-friendly, and perfect for encouraging biodiversity.
Included species:
- Birdsfoot Trefoil
- Black Knapweed
- Ox-Eye Daisy
- Musk Mallow
- Self Heal
- Yarrow
- Red & White Campion
- …plus native grasses and more
These species were chosen for their beauty, biodiversity value, and suitability for UK climates, encouraging local flora and fauna while avoiding the introduction of invasive species.
Planting Tips
When to Plant
For best results, plant your seed paper from March–April or late September, ready for blooms the following spring.
Prepare Your Paper
Tear the sheet into small pieces before planting. This helps light and moisture reach the seeds, increasing germination.
Choose Your Growing Medium
Seeds love nutrient-rich soil or compost — peat-free is best.
If planting in a wild area, gently loosen the soil first to help roots establish.
Plant Your Paper
Soak your torn seed paper until saturated.
Place it under a thin layer (about ¼ inch) of soil or compost and cover lightly.
Water generously, without waterlogging. Continue watering daily until shoots appear, then reduce to twice a week.
Important: Don’t allow your seed paper to dry out — consistent moisture is key to germination.
Watch the Seeds Grow
Soon you’ll see tiny green shoots reaching for the sun.
Each bloom will be unique — some may appear quickly, others may rest until the following year.
This is part of nature’s rhythm — a reminder that growth takes time.
Wildflower meadows are not only beautiful but low-maintenance, offering months of colour and a haven for bees and butterflies.

A Ritual of Growth
As your wildflowers bloom, let them remind you: patience is part of the process, and everything - including you - will bloom in its own perfect time.
